I’ve long been a fan of Chapters Indigo, both for their large selection of books as well as their stylish home decor items, so it was a delight to be invited to their Holiday Preview party last night. And given that our local ice cream truck has been rolling around the neighborhood playing Christmas carols all summer, it wasn’t too hard to hop on board with the unseasonal festive cheer (the bourbon didn’t hinder the process either).

Many of their gorgeous ornaments are neutral in color so they can fit in with any decorating color scheme you fancy.

I was lucky enough to take home my favorite item of Indigo’s ornament collection (shown above) and since its neutral color doesn’t scream “Christmas!”, I already have it discretely displayed on my book shelf.

Some of my other favorite home decor items included the mercury glass candles shown below. These beauties are also good for all year round once you burn down your Christmasy scent and replace it with a new votive.

They have gorgeous little urns/vases made of mercury glass as well.

I’ve always loved Indigo’s throws pillows and blankets and they don’t disappoint with their new winter collection. Between their two distinct lines, “Christmas at the Cabin” and “Christmas in the City” there is something for everyone, male or female, country style or modern.

It's not my style but I still appreciate the sleek softness of Indigo's new faux fur collection and well as the texture and graphics of their "Christmas at the Cabin" collection.

See that gorgeous blue knit pillow in the background. That'll be making an appearence on my bed this winter.

So much to see. So few good pictures to share. Check out Chapters Indigo come November for a first hand look at all their winter goodies. I may just run into you there.
